Emergency Response: Water and wastewater infrastructure repairs in result of the 'Protective Edge' operation on Gaza.

Client: ICRC
The project started in July 2014 and completed in September 2014. As an emergency fast-track project, it was necessary to complete it in a very short period of time. As such, SAK had mobilised 100 technical and support staff with engineers working in "extremely challenging and potentially dangerous conditions" to repair the vital infrastructure facilities.   The works are mainly emergency repairs throughout offensive time for water and wastewater infrastructures that are damaged during the 'Protective Edge' operation. These include but not limited to repairs and replacement of sewerage networks, electro-mechanical refurbishment for water and wastewater facilities.
